ADVISORY: Transforming Transportation 2018
WASHINGTON, DC (January 11, 2017)—The World Bank and World Resources Institute’s Ross Center for Sustainable Cities invite the press to attend Transforming Transportation 2018, one of the largest global conferences dedicated entirely to sustainable transport and development.
Transforming Transportation is based on the premise that transitioning to smart, sustainable mobility will play an essential part in addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty, gender inequality and public health.
This year’s event will focus on “realizing sustainable mobility for all in the digital era.” Specifically, sessions will look at innovations like shared mobility platforms, autonomous driving, and electric vehicles, and explore how we can leverage these cutting-edge solutions to make transport safer, greener, more inclusive and efficient.
The event will bring together a wide range of transport leaders and innovators from around the world, including government officials, CEOs, technology pioneers, academics and development experts.
