Andreea is Global Fund Development Manager in the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Prior to this role, she managed WRI’s Corporate Consultative Group from 2012-1016, where she worked directly with WRI’s corporate partners to deepen business engagement and strategic alignment on issues of shared interests. She played a critical role in helping WRI further strengthen its corporate partnerships by participating in the design of an evolving business engagement strategy, planning and executing regular events, serving as a central resource for member inquiries, and working with colleagues to successfully deliver a range of membership benefits.
During graduate school, she held fellowships with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Business Socially Responsible (BSR), Citigroup’s Corporate Sustainability unit, and the Secretary’s Global Partnership Initiative at the Department of State, where she worked on building public-private partnerships to address economic, social and environmental challenges. Prior to graduate school, she started her career in the financial services industry managing corporate affairs programs, and she spent three years in an emerging country in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, where she managed private sector development programs.
She holds a M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University, and a B.Sc. in Marketing from the Stern School of Business from the same university. She is married with two children and lives in Maryland.
