Wenting Wei

Urban Development Intern


Wenting is an Urban Development Intern at the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She works on issues related to integrated urban planning and urban transportation, with a special focus on the planning, implementation and financing of transit oriented development (TOD).

Prior to WRI, she worked as a consultant with the World Bank on urban development, transportation and environmental projects in China, and with the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China on water projects and international communications. She also worked as an auditor at KPMG China previously.

She is currently a second year M.A. candidate at School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University, concentrating in International Policy for Energy, Resources and Environment. She holds a MBA degree from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China and a B.A. in Fashion Marketing. 

In her free time, Wenting enjoys jogging, hiking and other outdoor activities.
