Joshua Miller, researcher at the International Council of Clean Transportation (ICCT), will provide an overview of the Roadmap model functionality and an overview of reduction potential by 2030. He is responsible for tracking energy and environmental regulations in the transportation sector worldwide to facilitate the transfer of international best practices.

The ICCT's Global Transportation Roadmap model is an Excel-based tool designed to help policymakers see trends in transportation activity, energy use, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and local air pollutant emissions; assess the impacts of different policy options; and develop policy roadmaps for clean air and low-carbon transportation.

This webinar will provide an overview of the Roadmap model functionality, including findings from a recent study of the impact of existing policies on transportation oil consumption and GHG emissions worldwide, as well as an overview of reduction potential by 2030. This study and a version of the Roadmap model and documentation is publicly available on the ICCT's website.
