More information
Who is responsible for transport and urban mobility in Mexico? Currently, urban mobility is governed at the state level, with disconnected institutions responsible for the planning and management of roads, traffic, freight, bikeshare, and pedestrian infrastructure. This decentralization causes fragmentation and inefficiency. In light of ongoing efforts to overcome this challenge, officials in Mexico are attempting to shape a more integrated system that will create more cohesive urban mobility systems. This webinar will explore the various plans proposed and draw from international examples to shape better policymaking on mobility for Mexican cities.
