EMBARQ Brazil has supported the planning and implementation of the Eixo Sul corridor through strategic alignment and prioritizing traffic safety measures. The launch of the corridor was attended by President Dilma Rousseff. The full system is expected to carry 600,000 passengers each day and reduce time spent commuting by 55% once fully operational.
