The webinar will provide an overview of the recent report by EMBARQ on the Social, Environmental and Economic Impacts of Bus Rapid Transit. The presentation will provide a brief synthesis of existing literature and new data, and then focus on a detailed analysis of one of the four case studies to explore available evidence regarding BRT performance, costs and impacts. The four cases are: TransMilenio, Bogota, Colombia; Metrobús, Mexico City, Mexico; Rea Vaya, Johannesburg, South Africa; Metrobüs, Istanbul, Turkey.
