Auto-rickshaws are an integral form of intermediate transport in Indian cities. EMBARQ india works to promote entrepreneurship in the auto-rickshaw sector via initiatives like the Rickshaw Rising Challenge. In July 2012, EMBARQ India partnered with RMC and G-Auto to help launch fleet auto-rickshaw services in the city of Rajkot. the first organized fleet service for auto-rickshaws in India. The successful model is currently spreading to other Indian cities.
