Adriana Lobo is the executive director of WRI Mexico. During the 14 years since its inauguration, WRI Mexico (formerly called CTS EMBARQ Mexico) has promoted an impact toward sustainable cities, and has now added the impact of the organization to the issues of energy, climate and forests. Under Adriana's leadership, WRI Mexico has played a vital role in the development of new norms, public policies, as well as its leadership in charitable projects for the environment.
She has more than 20 years of professional experience. She has focused on the development of sustainable policies, urban mobility projects, urban development and the environment, mainly in Mexico, Brazil, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and Chile. In addition, she worked for more than 6 years as Technical Director of the consulting firms Cal y Mayor y Asociados, SC and Transconsult, SC.
Born in Brazil, she studied civil engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo.
