Amelia is a Research Analyst for Resource Watch. She supports the development of this open data platform through data collection and visualization, management of near real-time scripts, and analysis for data-driven blogs.
Prior to joining WRI, Amelia worked as a Research Assistant, developing methods to optimize weather station network design in Sub-Saharan Africa. Amelia also served as a science teacher in Liberia with the Peace Corps.
Amelia holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Environmental Studies from Warren Wilson College, as well as an M.S. in Water Resources Engineering from Oregon State University.
In her free time, Amelia likes to kayak, bike, hike, and spend as much time as possible outdoors.
