Anandi Mishra is a Senior Associate at WRI India’s Communications department. Her main responsibilities include editorial supervision and assisting with media outreach.
Before joining WRI, Anandi worked as a copyeditor, fact-checker and reporter. She held staff reporting positions at the Times of India, India’s leading news daily; The Hindu, South India’s leading news daily, where she reported on environment, education and health, and brought out regular news features. Most recently she worked with Mint Lounge, the weekly features magazine of national business daily Mint. Anandi also worked as a junior associate at the Delhi High Court and lower courts in Delhi. She has lived in various cities across India.
Anandi completed her MA in Journalism from Cardiff University in Wales and holds a diploma in Print Journalism from Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. She is also a qualified lawyer, with an undergraduate degree in law.
In her free time, Anandi enjoys walking and writing about walking in cities. She likes writing and reading fiction and watching all kinds of feature films.
