Angela Enriquez
Bio
Angela is a Research Associate for the Energy and Climate team at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities where she focuses on climate and transport research. Angela leads the Low Emissions Development Strategies Global Partnership Transport Working Group providing capacity building support for governments to shift to low-carbon transport solutions. She is also a co-lead of the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) Green Mobility Working Group.
Prior to joining WRI, Angela worked as a Transportation Planner in the public and private sectors. Her responsibilities included performing stakeholder outreach, market research, and developing cost-effective alternatives within budgetary constraints for transport projects. She served on the Board of Directors of the Women in Transportation- Phoenix Chapter, as Assistant Programs Coordinator.
Angela holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, in Environmental Analysis and Design, with a minor in Urban and Regional Planning. She also has a Joint MSc in Regional Development Planning and Management from Technische Universität Dortmund, in Germany, and the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
