Bio

Nindy is the Research Assistant for Energy and Land Use Program at WRI Indonesia where she supports various energy researches and projects. Nindy has been supporting the policy analysis work for Clean Energy Investment Accelerator, leading a cross-sectoral themed analysis titled Energy Demand Quantification for Peatland Restoration Projects and involved in the renewable energy governance study.

Prior to WRI Indonesia, Nindy received her bachelor’s degree from Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia, majoring in Accounting. Her thesis focused on the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects on firm risk. During her undergraduate, she had been very active in joining environment-themed competitions and volunteer activities, such as Indonesian Young-Thought Leaders on Environment 2017 where she won the opportunity to intern at WRI Global Office in Washington D.C. She was also a delegate for Asian Students Environment Platform 2018.

During her leisure times, she enjoys wandering to new places for photo-hunting, watching documentaries, reading books, or just spending time with family and her beloved cat.
