Blake Hyde is a Program Coordinator II at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. He manages and coordinates budgetary, administration, operations, and financial duties across multiple teams within the program.
He has previously worked with the U.S. Department of Defense, advising and supporting government clients in their efforts to develop strong public health programs in Africa. Before that, he spent years as an environmental campaigner. More recently, he served as an Army Infantryman. Blake holds a M.A. in International Affairs with an emphasis in Global Environmental Policy from American University’s School of International Service and a B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University.
As a committed fitness and outdoors enthusiast, he spends his free time running, backpacking, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
