Camila Ramos

Transport Research Intern


Camila is the Transport Research Intern for the Cities Program at WRI’s DC office. She is part of the Integrated Transport team where she focuses on research on sustainable transport in China and Latin America. Camila also supports the BRT Centre of Excellence research team on finding new opportunities for cooperation between the Centre and WRI Ross Center.

Previously, Camila worked as a research assistant at Universidad Catolica de Chile. She specialized in Operations Research and Logistics and also served as a teaching assistant in Transport Economics and Transport Networks. Camila also contributed with research on management and policy development for Public Health systems.

Camila is a Transport Engineer from Universidad Catolica de Chile and holds a Master of Engineering Science from the same university.

Camila is very passionate about travelling, she believes in thinking about cities for the future but also in enjoying them. She is a fan of art in all its forms, and loves going to concerts, museums or even restaurants. She also loves learning new skills such as a new language, sport or dancing movements. Camila recently moved to DC and is currently looking for schools where she can keep improving her yoga and Flamenco skills!
