Daniely Votto

Urban Governance Manager, WRI Brasil

Bio

Daniely Votto is the Urban Governance Manager at WRI Brasil Cities Program. She coordinates local and national projects focused on governance, transparency, gender and civil society participation, and supports the Cities Team in Brazil with how to implement more people-centered projects.

Before joining the team, she worked for several years in international relations and strategy positions, especially as Head of Municipality of Porto Alegre International Affairs Office, at the Federation of Industries of Paraná and as a Special IR Advisor for the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul. Besides, she was UNESCO Brazil Project Manager and produced the first TEDxCuritiba.

Daniely graduated from PUC-RS and holds an B.A. in Law, with a Master's degree in Social Science, focusing her research on Participatory Budgeting, and Specialization in Philosophy and Civil Law. She is a passionate runner and feminist, but above all, crazy about cats.
