Jennifer Rennicks is a Senior Manager of Government Affairs in WRI's Climate Program. She works to expand visibility and impact in order to influence decision makers to advance and adopt clean energy solutions to the challenges we face from climate change.
Prior to joining WRI, Jennifer worked as the director of policy and communications at the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy for 15 years and also previously served as the watershed consortium project manager at Upstate Forever and an Ecosystem Management Initiative Fellow at the University of Michigan.
Jennifer earned a Masters of Science in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan in 2000, which included a summer of ecological field research in Belize, and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in 1993, which included a semester in Costa Rica. In addition, Jennifer completed an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University in 2016.
Jennifer lives in Asheville, NC with her husband, Richard, and their two daughters.
