Jesse Worker is a Senior Associate with the Environmental Democracy Practice in the Governance Center where he leads work on climate governance and rights and serves as the project lead for the Access Initiative. He also previously led development of the Environmental Democracy Index.
Prior to joining WRI in 2013, he was project manager for a randomized control treatment evaluation of the Weatherization Assistance Program for MIT and University of California-Berkeley and a climate campaign lead for Clean Water Action.
He has master's degrees in environmental science and public policy from the University of Michigan.
Originally from the Midwest, he lives in Silver Spring with his family.
