Jone is a Manager for Urban Efficiency and Climate at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, based in Mexico City. She coordinates global projects on electric transportation, particularly those focused in Latin America.
She previously worked for four years for WRI Mexico, on the urban mobility team, where she managed projects on the economics and finances behind transport systems.
Previously, she worked more than five years in the private and international public sectors on issues related to industrial analysis and macroeconomic development, as well as promoting sustainability in cities. She has lived in China, Austria and Chile, and currently works outs of the WRI office in Mexico City.
She has a Master’s degree in international economics and development from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a degree in international business and business management from the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
