José is a Technical Specialist in Mobility. He is responsible for carrying out the analysis and review of different public transport projects in the country, currently working on the development of the Mexican mobility observatory, and has collaborated in different publications of the organization.
José served as Director of Transportation for the State of Colima where he was in charge of Urban and Regional and individual public transport. He participated in the development of the Sustainable Mobility Law of Colima and has worked as a public transport consultant with emphasis on the planning, evaluation and operation of transport systems. He was also Senior Analyst of urban transport systems planning, implementation of BRT corridors and evaluation of operational performance.
José is a Transportation Engineer from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and a student of Economics from the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
