Juan Carlos is WRI México's Mass Urban Transport Systems Analyst. He performs technical analysis of mass transportation projects developed in the country and financed by the Federal Program for Support to Mass Transports (PROTRAM), conducts transport studies, demand, physical and operational analysis. He has also participated in several projects such as the development of the Mexican Transport Observatory and the baseline to Evaluate Vehicle Control Zones in the Megalopolis of Central Mexico.
Juan Carlos participated in the project “Information Systems and Management for Road Safety and Sustainable Urban Mobility” at the UACM, a mobility analysis project where Juan Carlos was in charge of generating transport and socioeconomic databases, as well as their digitization in a Geographic Information System.
Juan Carlos is earning an engineering degree in Urban Transportation Systems with specialization in Transportation Operation from the Autonomous University of Mexico.
