Head of International Cooperation/Senior Manager, Development & Partnerships
Katherine Roboff is Head of International Cooperation/Senior Manager, Development & Partnerships for WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Katherine supports fund development and donor partnerships to propel the program’s expansion and works in close collaboration with WRI staff across a seven-country network.
Prior to joining WRI, Katherine worked in nonprofit management and fundraising, most recently serving as Executive Director of Higher Achievement-DC Metro, an organization focused on educational equity and access. She was also a founding board member of Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School, a Washington, D.C. elementary school built around principles of environmental sustainability.
Katherine earned her Master’s of Science in Environmental Sciences & Policy at Johns Hopkins University; a Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education; and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Psychology from Bowdoin College.
Katherine is originally from the Boston area and has lived in Latin America and Southeast Asia. In her free time, she can be found hiking, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two young children.
