Kira is the Administrative Manager for the Global Director's office of the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She plays a central role in supporting the Global Director, in particular managing his responsibilities relating to public engagements; liaising with the Center's Advisory Group, Country Office Directors, project area leads, and external partners; facilitating relationships and ongoing operations; and managing the administrative team. Kira works closely with the Director and Senior Management to ensure timely completion of deliverables, preparation for upcoming events and commitments, supporting internal and external requests, and coordinating special projects. She serves as the primary point of contact on behalf of the Global Director.
Prior to joining WRI, Kira worked for over a decade with Hyatt Hotels, as an Executive Assistant and then Human Resources Manager. She worked for 2 years as a consultant for groups including Green Festivals, Inc., Green Wheaton, Chesapeake Sustainable Business Council, and Great Forest Sustainability Solutions.
Kira is attending American University for an MS in Sustainability Management in the Kogod School of Business. She holds a BS in Business Administration / Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management from the University of Delaware.
