Lidia Henderson
Bio
Lidia Henderson (she/her) is a Research Associate for e-mobility at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She works on the urban mobility team to advance transit bus electrification in the global south and advance clean, safe mobility options in cities around the world.
Prior to joining WRI, Lidia was the Program & Communications Manager at Empire Clean Cities, a New York-based environmental nonprofit and U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities coalition. Before moving back to New York City, Lidia was the Electric Vehicle Projects Coordinator at Blue Planet Foundation in Hawai'i and participated in the local Clean Cities Coalition, known as the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawai'i (STCH).
Lidia holds a M.Sc. in City and Regional Planning from the Pratt Institute and a B.A. in Environmental Studies (Policy) and Spanish from Colby College. She is part of the Clean Energy Leadership Fellowship 2021 inaugural NYC cohort.
Lidia lives in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently on the Board of YPE NYC (Young Professionals in Energy NYC) and serves as the Marketing Lead, helping organize local and virtual energy-related events and assisting with the new Mentorship Program.

This international coalition assists 20 cities in creating world-leading electric bus fleets and scaling e-bus adoption to hundreds more through city-to-city mentorship.
