Marco Antonio Villalobos
Bio
Marco Villalobos is the Energy Efficiency Manager at WRI México. He leads the activities of the Building Efficiency Accelerator in Mexico, part of the UN initiative: Sustainable Energy for All. Marco, supports local governments in the definition of policies and projects that contribute to improving energy efficiency in buildings.
Marco has collaborated with the Renewable Energy Institute (UNAM), the AEAEE / ALENER, the German Cooperation for Development (GIZ), the Mario Molina Center, and the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE), also he has been an independent consultant on energy efficiency and renewable energy topics.
Marco is an engineer and has a master's degree in renewable energy. He has received training from the International Energy Agency (IEA) on energy efficiency. His work at WRI Mexico has been recognized as WRI Cities Top Outcome.
