Marley Leitner

Project Manager, Clean Air Catalyst


Marley is the Project Manager for the Clean Air Catalyst, a new flagship program launched by The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and a global consortium of organizations, led by WRI and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) to accelerate clean air solutions in low- and middle-income countries.

Prior to this role, Marley was the Planning and Performance Associate for WRI Ross Center. Working on strategic planning and performance management for the Cities team, her role was to expand program visibility and impact, and to influence key decision-makers to advance solutions for today’s environmental challenges.

Marley has a background in international development, political science, and project management. She holds an MA in International Development from American University and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Indiana University.

Prior to joining WRI, Marley worked for GE Capital spearheading the implementation of strategic system integrations and managing the creation and transition of internal operations and risk processes. She has also worked in economic development and grassroots politics.

She is an avid volleyball player and traveler.
