Program Management Assistant

Bio

Mary Helen is the Program Management Assistant for the Global Operations and Program Management team within WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She routinely gathers and cleans programmatic data from across WRI’s offices and supports the development of tools and reports that analyze, monitor, and evaluate WRI’s work internally. She also assists with internal program and project management initiatives.

Prior to joining WRI, she conducted oral history research with coal mining communities in Central Appalachia and served as an intern at PBS Books.

Mary Helen holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Statistics from Duke University (Durham, North Carolina) with a concentration in the history of human rights and social movements. She is especially interested in studying forced migration.

In her spare time, Mary Helen enjoys walking her dog, crocheting, and improving her intermediate French.
