Miguel Ríos is a Road Safety Analyst at WRI México. Among his functions include improving the operating conditions and infrastructure for urban mobility. Miguel leads the audits, inspections and revisions of road safety in the national and international urban mobility projects. He also develops courses and training programs on road safety and infrastructure.
Miguel has worked in academia, the private sector and with WRI México (before CTS EMBARQ) with eight years of experience. He has worked on educational projects for road safety, infrastructure analysis and operation. He has also worked with governments, local, state, national and international, to raise awareness of the importance of road safety issues and participate in the development of recommendations to improve safe mobility.
Miguel has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Technological Institute and Higher Studies of the West. He also has a Master's degree in Earth Road Engineering from the Autonomous University of Querétaro, specializing in Education and Road Safety.
