Nikita Luke
Bio
Nikita is a Senior Project Associate for Health and Road Safety at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities.
Her work includes supporting global research and safe infrastructure projects, particularly in the areas of sustainable transport, public health, traffic safety, cycling & walking, and the application of the Safe System approach to road safety. She is passionate about creating green cities and shaping sustainable environments through community engagement and design.
Nikita is an architect and urban designer and formerly worked for Youth Build Boston as a Lead Designer. In her capacity, she led the in-house design team and guided under-served youth with the skills needed to successfully enter the construction industry.
Nikita holds a Master of Design in Sustainable Urban Environments from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Bachelor’s of Architecture from BMS College, Bangalore, India. She is also a certified LEED Green Associate and TRUE Advisor.
