Shanna is a civil enginner at WRI Brasil Sustainable Cities with a focus on health and road safety. Her main activities are related to road safety assessment of urban transportation projects, including road safety audits and traffic accident data collection and analysis.
Prior to joining WRI Brasil Sustainable Cities, she was involved with road infrastructure projects and traffic conditions analyses. She also conducted research on pedestrian safety and standard preference research methods. For a year Shanna worked as a teacher on civil engineering graduated course. Now, she is working on her master's in the transport systems laboratory at UFRGS.
