Liaison and Cities Network Coordinator, WRI México
Tannia is Liaison and Cities Network Coordinator at WRI México, responsible for promoting the exchange of experiences and knowledge between experts and member cities. In addition, she is responsible for managing the link between the organization and governments, academia and other civil society institutions with the objective of technically strengthening projects that promote sustainable urban development.
She has collaborated on research projects focused on environmental public policies, urban design, participatory planning, urban governance and sustainable mobility. He has participated as a lecturer on various international forums dealing with issues such as cycling among young people, daily transformations in human practices as a result of urban projects, regeneration of old industrial neighborhoods and people-centered planning.
She holds a Master's degree in Metropolitan Planning and Policies and a degree in Political Science from the Autonomous Metropolitan University. She also studied at the International Center of the University of Seville and is specialized in the analysis of public policies, urban design and Geographic Information Systems, territorial intelligence, people-centered design and participatory diagnostics.
