Vishant Kothari
Bio
Vishant Kothari is Manager for Electric Vehicle-Grid Integration in the Cities Program. He works to expand program visibility and impact, and influence decision makers to advance solutions for today's key environmental and urban challenges.
Prior to joining WRI, Vishant held cross-functional leadership roles in urban consulting, international development and global partnerships management. He brings a diverse set of skills through his global experiences across a youth leadership non-profit, AIESEC; a multilateral agency, Asian Development Bank; and most recently, a start-up leading stakeholder engagement for decarbonization across US cities, Advanced Energy Group.
Vishant holds a M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in New York City and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University, India. His work on building a case for congestion pricing in NYC appeared on GreenBiz.
Vishant lives in Washington, DC.
